Three current and former Sooners competed in their respective national championships Saturday.Aldwyn Sappleton took second in the men's 800-meter run final at the Jamaican National Championships Saturday. The four-time NCAA All-American ran 1:48.43 at National Stadium in Kingston, finishing behind Ricardo Cunningham at 1:48.00.Sappleton had a stranglehold on the Jamaican 800 title from 2004 to 2010 and appeared in his first Olympic Games in 2008. Whether or not Sappleton's current qualifying time can get into the 2012 Olympic remains to be determined.
