Vernon Turner, a fifth-year senior at Oklahoma, placed second in the men's high jump final with a first-attempt clearance at 7-3 (2.21m) at the NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships at the Albuquerque Convention Center in New Mexico. Turner earned All-America first-team honors for the seventh time in his career, including last year's indoor national title at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Alabama.
