Nikaoli Williams, a sophomore at Oklahoma representing Jamaica, placed second in the men's long jump with a wind-legal 26-1.50 (7.96m) leap on his first attempt to achieve a personal-best performance at the NCAA Division 1 West Regional at Sacramento State. Williams secured a berth in the June 7 final at the Division 1 championship meet at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin, Texas.
