Pippi Lotta Enok, a freshman at Oklahoma representing Estonia, won the women's heptathlon title with 6,165 points at the NCAA Division 1 Championships at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin, Texas. Enok, the World U20 silver medalist, became the first Oklahoma female athlete to capture a heptathlon crown, in addition to becoming only the second Estonian female competitor in Division 1 history to secure a heptathlon championship, joining Brigham Young's Anu Kaljurand, who prevailed in 1992 in Austin with 6,142 points. Enok also elevated to the No. 15 heptathlon performer in collegiate history.
